Introducing the Omni-Series Power Rack with Dual Free Arm Plate Loaded Pulley System, offering a comprehensive power rack with dual cables, utilising our popular free motions arms for even more versatility. The rack also has an optional Smith Machine Add-On, the smith bar has removable hooks to quickly go from smith machine exercises to the cable system and standard barbell. The smith machine also comes with safety stop, ideal when training alone.

The rack comes as standard with the dual plate loaded pulley system and free motion arms, the arms enhance the range of motion you are able to achieve in a wide range of exercises, while also allowing you to easily connect the two pulleys together for a 1:1 weight ratio. Each free arm runs on a 2:1 ratio when used separately, however when the two cables are connected together the felt weight will be the equivalent of a 1:1 ratio. More info on this below!

When rotating the arms out to the side, you will achieve a wider range of motion for exercises like cable flies. pointing the arms upwards and outwards will provide an optimal position for lat pulldown, gaining extra height and putting the cable more directly above the users head.

What are ratios?

A 2:1 Ratio means the weight being lifted is half the weight loaded onto the plate carriage (40KG feels like 20KG), a 1:1 ratio you would be lifting the full weight loaded onto the carriage (40KG feels like 40KG). The benefit of a 2:1 ratio over a 1:1 ratio is the distance the handle can be pulled. The handle can move twice the distance compared to a 1:1 ratio, giving you more room for larger cable flies and any exercise that requires the cable to move further, while also offering smaller increments when adjusting the weight. A 2:1 ratio also has less felt inertia, meaning a smoother operation during use. A 1:1 ratio is ideal for exercises where more weight is needed, like a lat pulldown or low row.
